Homage to the Three Jewels of the Shrine. Homage to the main deity of the homa, the great Kalachakra. Homage to the multitude of venerable beings. Today, I will continue the talk on the preface. Next, the preface discussed our lineage transmission. Kanjurwa Khutughtu was one of the highest ranking living buddhas of Mongolia. The highest-ranking living buddha of Mongolia was Jebtsundamba Khutughtu.

Kanjurwa and Chankya Khutughtu were ranked slightly behind him. Today, I am wearing the hat of the Sakya School. Vajra Acharya Sakya Zhengkong was one of the Sakya teachers who was genuinely capable of teaching the Hevajra Tantra and who truly possessed Hevajra Tantra transmission. The Sakya School has two leaders. One of them is H. Sakya Trizin in India. The other is H. Sakya Dagchen Rinpoche in Seattle.

Sakya Dagchen Rinpoche. Three members of Sakya School possess genuine transmission of the Hevajra Tantra. What about the source of our Yamantaka Tantra lineage? Vajra Acharya Thubten Dargye subsequently gave me the Yamantaka teaching and the tantra text. Hence, I have the Yamantaka transmission. Every tantra requires an unbroken lineage transmission. I originally had only one copy of the Yamantaka Tantra text and it was stored in the security safe in the True Buddha Tantric Quarter.

One time, I gave the text to Vajra Master Lianning to copy. He made two copies. He gave me one copy and the other copy is stored at the Tantric Quarter. Grand Master and audience laughed Master Lianning embarrassingly said that he had read most of the text. He is very honest. We should praise him for his honesty applause. After receiving the sadhana text, people would generally read the entire text carefully because it contains many great secrets.

We know that Hevajra has eight consorts. The main consort is the wisdom dakini in the center, Nairatmya. The same applies to chanting the mantra of Kalachakra or Yamantaka. This is a very important point that everyone should remember. Then, everything will be perfect. Of course, buddha fields are drastically different from the human realm. When I saw Chen Chuang-fang today, I told her that I had retold all her stories and jokes as of yesterday.

Then, she wrote down three stories for me. One story goes like this. There was a person who never had any religious belief. But, he developed strong faith one day. He believes that there is such a thing as hell on earth. Why do you think that Columbus was able to discover the New World? That could have never happened if he was married. Heaven and earth are different.

Who else is going with you? So, there would be many problems to deal with. But, I am always home on time. My car almost ran out of gas once, so I had to stop by the gas station for a bit. Where were you during those ten minutes? She was questioning me for being ten minutes late. So, I pulled out the receipt from the gas station. Then, the tension eased. Amitabha Buddha. I am exaggerating. In relationships, women tend to speak louder before marriage. Men tend to speak louder after marriage.

Their relationship is different after getting married. There was a husband who always spoke in a loud voice to his wife. Then, he suddenly changed and only spoke in a very soft voice. We still must talk about Buddha-dharma. We have two guests who are professors conducting research on religion. They are Professor Tang and Professor Wu applause.

On the other hand, Professor Wu always has some questions. These questions are also Buddha-dharma, so I have to share them with everyone. These two professors visited every True Buddha School chapter and temple in Taiwan applause.

Not one chapter claimed to be the second chapter of True Buddha School. He asked me about this issue. I replied that this is normal human behavior. So, everyone is number one. Then, Grand Master becomes number two. This means that the mediocre Grand Master is guiding all these number one True Buddha School students.

This is normal human psychology! In reality, there is nothing wrong for everyone to claim to be number one. Shakyamuni Buddha had ten great disciples and they were all the authority in a particular field. One disciple was foremost in hearing dharma teachings. Then, there was the one who was foremost in miraculous power, foremost in wisdom, foremost in delivering sentient beings, etc. His students were all number one.

Therefore, what more needs to be said about these other chapters when even Grand Master is claiming to be number one? Professor Wu also asked another more important question. He said that Padmasambhava taught us to honor the guru, treasure the dharma, and cultivate diligently. He said that he received several different answers. Some answers were the four preliminary practices, meditation, one daily practice session, and other explanations.

This is my response to his question on what diligent cultivation was: applying your abilities to their fullest in whatever challenges and situations you encounter is precisely diligent cultivation applause.

Some of our True Buddha School students said that performing good deeds is diligent practice. They said that cultivation is to reform all our habitual tendencies completely and that is precisely diligent cultivation. I told Professor Wu that these responses were also right. All their answers were right. Take care of all the little things around you. That is diligent cultivation. That is doing something big. Many people cultivate diligently at Seattle Leizang Temple. As long as he perfectly completes this task, he has diligently cultivated.

Reverend Jiuru is responsible for food services at the Temple. Her diligent cultivation is to manage the kitchen and make sure it runs smoothly, make sure all the food is tasty, and make sure that everyone is full and happy with the food. Dharma brother and sister Zhang from Texas prepared delicious food, and this is their diligent cultivation. As another example, the clothes that Grand Master wears for the dharma ceremony have to be color-coordinated. Everyone who saw my attire felt the clothing went together and looked very dignified.

That is also diligent cultivation. Every night before you go to sleep, you perform the dream yoga.

Short Hevajra Sadhana

Nagor This hope of rapid success brings an actuality into the religious biographies of this period, however fantastic they still remain in many details, and the religious ideal of the mahasiddha coincides with the historical examples. This has led to hevajr all too rapid assumption that the Buddhist tantras are in all things identifiable with the sakta tantrasa conclusion which, if indeed justified, should have followed from an examination of the texts and traditions on both sides. It is misleading to pretend that the doctrine was now suddenly invaded and swamped with popular and superstitious practices. True Buddha Dharma-character Treasury — Hevajra Nor is it just to compare unfavourably the work of these later writers with that of the earlier ones. It is envisaged as corresponding with the fifteen vowels and the fifteen phases of the moon, and Hevajra as bodhicitta with the moon itself. Bendall, Museon, new series iv-v.

By the merit of this work, our prayer that all living beings attain the supreme Enlightenment. May all be without imperfections! Through the Path by which liberation is won, quickly may they gain Buddhahood. At night, purify appearances which appear as Deities into the Realm of Clear Light and sleep.

Regarding the spread of the tantra in India, Jamgon Kongtrul says: Many different traditions of Hevajra, the ultimate mother tantra, appeared in India. The three traditions from Saroruha, Krishna-samaya-vajra, and Durjayachandra each formed an independent tradition. The others resemble compilations of the best aspects of those three. Farrow, G.
